Tuesday’s Workshop meeting

Hi all,

I hope you’ve all had a good week, particularly those members who visited Highgate Cemetery on Saturday. Thanks to Mark for organising.

This week we have our first workshop of the new season. Bill is bringing the studio lights and a couple of models. As it looks like it might be a clear night, we will also attempt some night photography, maybe some star shots and light painting. Lots to try out! Please bring cameras and tripods if you have them.

Remember it is also hand in night for the first competition. Mark will be available to collect your Round 1 PDI entries (bring them on a USB stick) and help you with your entry if you need it.

This is a fantastic opportunity for photographers to have their work published in a glossy, quality calendar and seen by thousands of people all over Hertfordshire.

The deadline for entries is October 17.

Images need to be high res jpgs, the image should be large enough to fill a 426mm x 303mm frame at 300dpi.

Images can be sent via file transfer link (Dropbox, You Send It, We Transfer etc) to the editor richard.young@archant.co.uk or as an attachment to the same email (18mb is max capacity on that account).
